[tl;dr- No. Wait. DO read. Yes.]

For those of you not online last night and have not yet heard by word of mouth [or in this scenario, by type] us mods made the decision of transitioning last_stretch from Scribbld to Livejournal. There's a good number of reasons why. Though the main reason would have to be Scribbld's inability to load for the past several days. In a means of keeping the rp fun tiemz going, the topic of coming back to Livejournal came up.

Before it was only meant as a temporary fix. A place to go while Scribbld was down. But now Scribbld is back up and we are in a bit of a rut. The pro's and con's had been discussed in a chat last night [apologies to those that were not online/chose not to come to said chat] and the matter of popularity when the community was on a different site being one of the headliners. Amongst a few others.

So, for the time being we are going to be keeping the community on Livejournal. Temporarily. Just to see how it goes. Yes, the site has less icons when using a basic account. Though you will have more room to budge with a plus account and even more with a paid. But more icons is not a good enough reason to stay on a site that barely functions half the time and charges an arm and a leg for it's more regal functions.

Before anything else is stated we would like to apologize for any conveniences this might raise. If it is too much of an obstacle then we would be happy to receive your complaints and talk them through via AIM [laststretch mods]. If it is just too much to take and you do not wish to play in the community any longer then we are sad to see you go and it was a pleasure playing with you. ♥

For those that do wish to stay? Please follow these basic instructions so that we can get everything back in order~ Again, we know it's a hassle and we appreciate your help.

Be sure to do the following with your character journal:

o1. Join both the IC (last_stretch) and the OOC (reach_for_ooc) communities as well as sticky_noto and add ls_mod as a friend here. Only then will you be able to comment to the friend add/remove entry. Here, you will also add all the players to your IC journal.

o2. Once you are friended, you'll be able to view certain friends-locked entries. Next, you will go here and fill out the player contact information.

o3. Please also take the time to re-add your current phone post to your character journal. Simple copy/pasting procedure~ Once done, please comment to this post with your information. If you'd like you can even link back to your phone post on Scribbld. I know there are a few members that have awesome 'calls' in their posts and we don't want to forget them.

o4. We would like to keep the 'bandwagon' alive, but will not force any member to re-post it on Livejournal. You can and we would adore you for it. If you would like to then please head over here and follow the directions in the edit at the bottom as well as post the new link for your bandwagon thread.

o5. And finally, please disable the custom comment pages on your character journal. This is to keep everything loading nice and fast. I know your new layout is pretty, but nobody wants to thread in a place where comments go wonky. You'll find this option under display, and where it says "Disable customized comment pages for your journal:" please set the drop down to "YES" and save your changes. If you change your layout often, you will need to recheck this box after every layout change you make.

Again, we appreciate everyone's cooperation. LS has been open for close to two years now and quite a lot of our members know each other/are butt buddies to the EXTREME. And we ♥ every last one of you. So here's to having some good fun in this tiny, silly comm for a long time coming.
